Jackrabbit Recruiting Update: Class of 2018 is Taking Shape
Yesterday brought three new verbal commitments the class of 2018 is rounding into shape. The next signing period begins on February 7th. The three most recent verbals will join Mike Morgan and Matt Borowicz in signing during the late period. The Jacks netted a majority of their class in December but will likely add a few more players before all is said and done.
The newest verbals all came on Sunday and were spread throughout the day.

- Played TE and MLB in high school
- Redshirted his first year at IWCC and then played in 5 games in 2017 due to injury
- Very athletic and his high school tape shows a nose for the football
- Dad, John had a 12 year NFL career and was the defensive line coach at Nebraska last year

- Helped lead his team to the Florida 2A State Semi-Finals as a WR and OLB
- Team's avg margin of victory
- Had 20 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 INT during his senior campaign along with 28 receptions for 405 yards and 8 TDs his senior season
- Appears to be what the Jacks look for in the OLB's: strong, fast, and good ball skills.

- Trains with special teams guru Chris Husby in Minneapolis
- Attending multiple summer camps including the Kohl's 2017 Midwest Spring Showcase averaging over 60+ yards on kickoffs and 40+ yards on punts.
