Summer 2021: #NFLJacks Update
As another NFL season approaches we take a brief look at Jackrabbits involved in the league and what's been going on for them leading into the 2021 season.
Cade Johnson, Seattle Seahawks. Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA).
Cade has shown out at camp as we would have expected. He recently garnered praise from head coach Pete Carroll.

And
Christian Rozeboom, Los Angeles Rams UDFA
As his first real year in the league last year on the Rams practice squad Christian no doubt gained valuable experience and time to grow.
Hopefully that experience pays off and the Rams see the explosive (and productive) inside linebacker we witnessed at Dana J. With Kenny Young still being a possible for cap casualty Christian just needs to earn a roster spot so we can see more of that production. The Rams run a bunch of backers on their roster. Hopefully Christian has shown enough to make the cut.

Mikey Daniel, previous team Carolina Panthers UDFA
Everybody spending their Saturday's in Brookings for tailgating and Jackrabbit football know the bruising one cut style of running and excellent blocking Mikey brings to the gridiron.
The Panthers recently waived Mikey who had previously spent time with Atlanta. Hopefully Mikey can be picked up by a team that has an ideal situation for him.

Jordan Brown, Washington football team 7th round (2019 pick №. 223 Cincinnati)
Jordan spent 2020 on Washington's practice squad. There's not much news out there right now on Jordan. But we hope to see something great for him in 2021!
Dallas Godert, Philadelphia 2nd Round (2018 pick №. 223 Philadelphia)
The former Walk-on standout for the Jacks has made a name for himself in Philly in the last couple of seasons. Anybody that has been paying attention to what Dallas has been doing could tell you, what was supposed to be his biggest drawback as a player coming into the draft: (blocking ability) is largely regarded as his greatest strength. He is a far better blocker than Zac Ertz, and with Ertz’s production largely disappearing, look for Dallas to have even more targets in 2021. If the Eagles can get their current offensive issues figured out and get Dallas to the !00 (or more) he can have the breakout/All-Pro year everybody knows he’s capable of. Another thing to keep an eye on with Dallas is this is the final year of his Rookie contract. It would be great to see everything coalesce, leading to him being one of the Top-5 T.E.’s we all know he is.
Dallas also notably was invited to participate in Greg Olson and George Kittle’s “Tight End University” Look for an even sharper DG in 2021. Hopefully Hurts can get him the ball.

Bryan Whitzmann, Chiefs UDFA
Whitz Started out his NFL journey with the Texans back in 2014. He as seen time on nine different rosters and been with his current team twice. The Chiefs had added Bryan to the OL roster as recently as Aug. 8. But as the NFL’s infamous acronym might indicate he was released to free agency by the Chiefs again today.
